We announce the death of Carol Moore Vardell of Millington, Tennessee, who passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 83. Carol will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Moore and Lillian Walker Moore; her husband Don Vardell; and her sister-in-law Gayle Moore. She is survived by: her children, Renee Flanick (Allen), Eileen Borski (Jeff), Karen Burkhalter (Donald) and Robby Porter (Jude Bourque); her grandchildren, Todd Reilly (Melanie), Meredith Garrison (Donnie), Vince Long Elizabeth (Kristen), Evan Borski (Josh), Drew Burkhalter, McCall Burkhalter, Josh Vardell, Amanda Riker and Michael Flanick (Annie); her great grandchildren, Alexis Garrison, Reilly Garrison, Owen Reilly, Bash Reilly, Park Reilly, Jude Long, Eli Long and Wilson German; and her brothers, Alan Moore (Dena) and Vincent E. Moore, Jr. (Barbara).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel (7450 Raleigh Millington Rd, Millington, TN 38053). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
