It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine E. Shelby (Millington, Tennessee), born in Covington, Tennessee, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Ervin and Ruby Ervin; her husband Edward L. Shelby Sr.; and her son Edward L Shelby Jr.. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jeremy Sears, Bradley Shelby (Tara), Joshua Shelby (Kris), Zakary Shelby (Jada) and Matthew Sears (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Bentley, Willow and Alice; and her brothers, Billy Ervin (Mary) and Pat Ervin (Carla). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, many precious friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home (6755 US-51, Millington, TN 38053). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM.
