Danny W. Cox Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Danny W. Cox (Millington, Tennessee), born in Memphis, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Corrina Cox; his parents, Herbert Cox and Maxine Cox; and his siblings, Ernest, Charles, Ferman Cox, Linda Preston, Pat Hawkins and Phoebe Rowe.
He is survived by: his wife Christa Cox; his children, Carole McClain and Danny Cox (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jordan McClain (Aly), Morgan Davis (Zachary), Jake Cox (Rachel), Matthew Cox and Bradley Cox; and his great grandchildren, Tuck and Oliver McClain. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Paw and Claws Rescue in Danny's memory.
