He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha Hector. He is survived by: his father James Hector; his wife Mona Hector; his daughter Jennifer Steadman (James); his grandchildren, Kristin Bohanan (Brandon), Michael Flacke (Rebecca) and Sean Ilard; and his great grandchildren, Crystal Collwell, Braydon Bohanan, Jaydon Bohanan, Carolyn Bohanan, Ruby Bohanan, Haydon Flacke, Liam Flacke, Braxton Flacke, Clayton Flacke and Raegan Ilardi.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home (5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119). A rosary was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (3700 Thomas St, Memphis, TN 38127).
