She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Spencer; her daughter Felisa Walton Hines; her siblings, Marie Brown and William Jone Reader; and her parents, Charles C. Nelson and Baby Mae Reader.
She is survived by: her children, Felita Joy Chambers and Terrance Walton; her grandchildren, Brittany Thorpe, Davisha Walton, Jamario Chambers, Barry Hines Jr. and Caleb Walton; her siblings, Mary Wells Jones, Hamilton Wells and Andrew Kenny Wells; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Jones and Cynthia Wells. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Millington Funeral Home (7738 Church St, Millington, TN 38053). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Spring Baptist Church (10250 Godwin Rd, Arlington, TN 38002). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the same location.
