James Alfred Thompson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alfred Thompson of Millington, Tennessee, who passed away on May 23, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James "Anderson" Thompson and Lillian Bea Kee Thompson; and his brothers, Ray Thompson, Thomas Thompson and Joe M. Thompson.

He is survived by : his wife Clara Mae Moore Thompson; his daughters, Conneye Albright (Daniel) and Donna Vandiver (Charlie); his sister Beverly Thompson Goodman (Ronnie); and his grandsons, Nathan Albright, Benjamin Albright, William Vandiver (Corie), Jacob Vandiver (Anna) and Chuck Vandiver. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Tipton County Animal Shelter, in honor of Mr. James' love for animals.
