She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Kennedy and Odell Kennedy; her husband Calvin Sterling Cook; her son Calvin Maughan; and her grandson Brandon Lockhart.

She is survived by : her daughter Tammy Lockhart (Bill) of Millington, TN; her siblings, Patsy Williamson of Munford, TN, Judy Burton of Hawaii and Tommy Kennedy of Arlington, TX; her grandchildren, Colton Lockhart (Diamond) and Rebecca Shaw; her great grandchildren, Amayah Lockhart, Adalyn Lockhart, Johnathan Otto, Anthony Otto and DJ Shaw; and her great great grandchild Daisy Otto.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Munford Funeral Home – Millington Chapel (7450 Raleigh Millington Rd, Millington, TN 38053). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the West Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery.
