He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence E. Montgomery Sr. and Effie Baskin Montgomery; and his brother Lawrence E. Montgomery Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Reece Montgomery; his children, Candace (Jeremiah) and Lawrence; and his granddaughter Hadley. He is also survived by one niece & nephew, and a host of many cousins and friends.
