We are sad to announce that, on January 14, 2026, Ruth Ann Jones of Millington, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Summerlin and Virginia Putman Summerlin; and her brothers, William "Bill" Summerlin and James "Jimmy" Summerlin. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Jones; her sons, Eddie (Lisa), Chris and Jonathan (Deborah); and her grandchildren, Josh (Alishia), Kasi, Kevin (April), Kyle (Amanda), Logan (Miranda), Keith and Amber. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made on her behalf to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or your favorite charity.
