He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Harmon and Lucy Harmon; his brother James R. "Bob" Harmon; his daughter-in-law Jenny Harmon; his brother-in-law James Goan; his nephew Steve Harmon; and his parents-in-law, Cecil and Inis Bise.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Bise Harmon; his son Teddy Harmon; his granddaughter Milly Lou Harmon; his siblings, Judy Goan and Ronnie; his sister-in-law Cathy Harmon; his aunt Jean Gibson; his brother-in-law Larry (Janie Bise); and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Harmon, Misty Harmon, Crystal Jessee and Eric Goan.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 7:00 AM and at 7:00 PM. Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A committal service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the GreeneLawn Memory Gardens (4159 Asheville Hwy, Greeneville, TN 37743).
