He was predeceased by: his daughter Jenyfer Smith; and his parents, Billie Milton Smith and Ada Kathern Smith (McGhee). He is survived by: his wife Vicky Smith (Rathbun); his daughter Kristal Laurain; and his grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Madison Laurain, Adrienne Laurain and Ethan Laurain.
