She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Sitz and Mary Richmond Champion; her husband Charles Masingill; and her granddaughter Christy Brannan Bussard. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Brannan Rutherford (David), Denise Barry (James) and Mike Brannan; her grandchildren, David Brannan (MaryAnn), Chelsey Willis (Tom), Megan Groover (Brian), Ashley Barry and Alyson Barry; and her great grandchildren, Matti Brannan, Lily Brannan, Evie Brannan, Eli Groover and Avery Willis.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
