Cora Bivens Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2025, at the age of 91, Cora Bivens (Monteagle, Tennessee) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cora Bivens to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Smith and Ruth R. Smith (Webb); her former husbands, H. C. Grant Jr. and Rev. H. W. Medley; her son Randall Medley (Tammy); and her sons-in-law, Doug "Jerry" Thomson and Russ Pierce.
She is survived by: her husband Don Bivens; her children, Carol "Joan" Thomson, Jeffrie Medley, Wynnel Vickery, Lora Martin (John) and Jenny Pierce (Bill Magrath); and her brother Van Smith (Sue). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (207 Mabee Ave, Monteagle, TN 37356). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Cora's memory may be made to St. Judes or the Shriners.
