It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Anthony McFarland of Monteagle, Tennessee, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill McFarland and Ela Mae Long McFarland; his son Jody Bill McFarland; his stepsons, Teddy Robin Roddy and Freddie James Roddy; his brother Scooter Bill McFarland; and his sibling's children, Angie McFarland, Amanda Mae Lockhart and J. C. McFarland.
He is survived by: his wife Betty McFarland; his stepson Jesse Roddy; his nephews, Cecil McFarland (Karen) and Danny McFarland (April); his sister-in-law Margaret McFarland; his aunt Doris Harper; his great-nieces, Kasey, Alexis and Ashley McFarland; his great-nephew Derek McFarland; his grandchildren, Madison and Mae Robby; Kynlee, Kaylee, JaCee Elizabeth, Dallas, Memphis, Mason and Jaxon.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 8:00 PM.
