It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Wayne Poppen of Monteagle, Tennessee, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Poppen; his siblings, Jesse Poppen and Shari Poppen (William "Buck" Buchanan); and his cousin Gary Wingfield. He is survived by: his wife Helen Davis Poppen; his son Mark Poppen (Heather Gail); his grandchildren, Madison Poppen, Leland Poppen and Lainey Poppen; his father Harold Poppen; his nephew Cody Poppen; his aunt Nancy Buchanan; and his nieces, Jessica and Alexis Poppen. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home, South Pittsburg Chapel (400 Laurel Ave, South Pittsburg, TN 37380). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home (400 Laurel Ave, South Pittsburg, TN 37380).
