Jon Payne Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 17, 2026, at the age of 64, Jon Payne of Monterey, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jon Virgil Payne; and his brother-in-law Tim Gray. He is survived by: his mother Marcia Lynn Norrod (Stoops); his wife Niki Payne; his children, BJ Duck, Ashley Helms (Derrick), Josh Payne, Justin Payne (Lisa), Jason Payne (Kayla Morgan) and Quincye Mesler; his sisters, Stacy Gray and Wendy Hedeen; his stepmother Sue Payne; and his stepsisters, Melissa Wilson and Kristin Wilson. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to the Quincye Mesler Savings Account at Wilson Bank and Trust to aid in furthering his education.
