He was predeceased by: his parents, Remus McCormick and Lula Mae Redmon McCormick; his daughter Carrie Blevins; his granddaughter Cheyenne Blevins; and his brother David McCormick.

He is survived by: his daughter Felicia McCormick of Morrison; his sister Ann Jennings of McMinnville; his grandchildren, Kelly Sanders, Stacy Arnold, Jonathan Walker (Tonya), Caitlynn Arnold (Blaine), Cameron Blevins, Samantha Luna (Leon), Ciara Blevins and Jaxon Thedford; and his close friend Huey Scott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the High's Chapel (101 College St, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
