He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Buchanan and Marie Hooper Buchanan; and his parents-in-law, Kelly and Jewel Crabtree. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Buchanan; his children, Michael Buchanan (Barbara), Stephen Buchanan (Tammy) and Beth George (Micheal); his grandchildren, Kenny Buchanan (Callie), Kim Buchanan (Jerrilynn), Andrea Myers (Jackie), Heather Sharp (Evan), Conner Buchanan, Katie Buchanan and Abigail Buchanan; his great grandchildren, Curtis Buchanan, Bryson Myers, Camryn Sharp, Brooks Buchanan and Audrey Sharp; his sister Sue Webb; and his sister-in-law Sally Searcy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Woodbury Funeral Home (504 W Main St, Woodbury, TN 37190). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home (504 W Main St, Woodbury, TN 37190). A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204).
