She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dewey (Ethel Lou Estes Murphy) and Taylor; her husbands, Billy John Ferrell, Jay Garrett and Roy Taylor; her sons, David Taylor and Doug Ferrell; her grandsons, Billy Ferrell and Lee Allen Ferrell; and her siblings, Charles Murphy and Ann Hale.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Ferrell (Louise), Benjamin Taylor and Joyce Mosley of Morrison; and her brother Medford Murphy (Ruth) of Liberty. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Love-Cantrell Funeral Home (100 E Church St, Smithville, TN 37166). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Melton Cemetery (146 Off Hwy, Smithville, TN 37166).
The family has requested that no flowers be sent as Ms. Louise said flowers should be sent while you're living, so in her honor, please make donations to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
