She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hess and Rose Hess; her siblings, Albert, Gilbert, Paul, Billy, Raymond, Bobby Hess, Clara Hylle, Rose Marie Long, Agnes Sorce and Margaret Boeckmann; and her brother-in-law Lowell Miller.
She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Buergler and Dot Dettlinger; and her pets, Rocky and Queenie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends.
