It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arvel Elmo Knight of Morristown, Tennessee, who passed away on August 1, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Randy Knight; his parents, James H. Knight and Nellie Fox Knight; his parents-in-law, Rev. Lloyd L. and Norma McKinney; his siblings, Wayne Knight and Wanda Knight; and his sons-in-law, Kyle "Buster" Hayes and Coy Brooks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Brooks and Sharon Cloer (Craig); the mother of his children LaVonda Knight; his grandchildren, Josh Cloer (Dreama) and Brianna Knight; his great grandchildren, Sara, Gage and Grayson Cloer; his siblings, James C. Knight (Billlie), Don L. Knight (Elizabeth) and Barbara Ann Knight; his sister-in-law Mary Knight; and his daughter-in-law Roberta L. Knight. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or an organization that is special to you.
