He is survived by: his wife Eunice Poteet Welch; his daughter Rebecca "Becky" Marsh; his granddaughter Brittany Tener (Joshua); his great grandchild Elijah Tener; his siblings, Harold Welch (Maxine) and Wilma Sumpter; his siblings-in-law, Lucille Pitman (Roy), Brenda Mundy (Gary), Arnold and Tom Poteet; Kathy Wilmeth.
