It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Gray Jr. (Morristown, Tennessee), who passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Earnestine H. Gray; his parents, Charles R. Gray Sr. and Hazel K. Gray (Hoard); his sister Jewel Douglas; and his brother-in-law Carl Burnette.
He is survived by: his son Richard V. Gray (Rick); his daughter-in-law Freda S. Gray; his granddaughters, Jordan E. Long (Paul Long) and Mallory G. Gray; and his brother John T. Gray (Luz Gray). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Bent Creek Cemetery: P.O. Box 144, Whitesburg, TN 37891, where Charles served as a trustee for many years, or to Shriners Children's Hospital.
