He is survived by: his girlfriend Sherry Hodge; his mother Loella Sumpter; his son Matthew Sumpter; his stepchildren, Chris, Jason and Troy; his brother Logan Sumpter; his granddaughters, Octavia, Guinevere and Acacia Sumpter; and his close friends, Jeff Holt, Tim Bibbins, McKinley Allen, Rob Stabler and Howmet. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mayes Mortuary (444 W Main St, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
