He is survived by: his children, Brian Darnell (Missy), Jason Darnell (Pam), Tammy Hester (Shannon) and Brook Darnell; his grandchildren, Madison Darnell, Bentley Darnell, Kristy Foote (Blake), Alex Short, Kailee Darnell, Brady Darnell, Mashayla Harris (Tristan), Chazton Hester and Laylah Hester; and his great grandchildren, Ben Foote, Gabe Foote and Scarlett Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
