He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hufford of Morristown; his children, Eric Hufford (Brian Penick) of Littleton, Brian Hufford (Trisha) of White Pine, Tennessee and Kara Mitchell (Brian) of Littleton, Colorado; his granddaughter Aubrey Mitchell of Littleton, Colorado.; and his sisters, Joan Smith of Indiana, Barbara Lindsay of Nevada and Margit Paulk of Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
