He was predeceased by: his son Robert Lynn Jarnigan; his grandson Joshua E. Jarnigan Jr.; his parents, Robert Lee and Marcella Jarnigan; and his brother Ronnie Jarnigan.
He is survived by: his children, Susie Hayes (Leon), Donna Turner (Ronnie), Michael Jarnigan (Amanda) and Joshua E. Jarnigan. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew; several great nieces and nephews.
