She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray McCoy and Ruby McCoy. She is survived by: her husband Paul Matthews; her sons, Gary Matthews and Larry Matthews (Julie); her grandchildren, Emily Walton (Tim), Lindy Matthews and Turner Matthews (Abby); and her friends, Gene Widener and Doris Loar. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Manley Baptist Church Building Fund.
