She was predeceased by: her parents, Reece Edison and Leona Melton; her husband David L. Parks; and her brothers, Roy Lee Melton and Wayne Melton.
She is survived by: her children, L'Von Janeway (Rick), Pam Masingo (Danny), Michelle Graves (Paul) and Eddie Parks (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Alyssa, Bradley, Andrew, Katie, Joshua, Jordan, Lindsey, Mike and Henderson; and her sister Dorothy Harrison (Phil).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Claiborne~overholt Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greer Cemetery.
