He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Branch and Louise Bohanan Branch; his sister Beatrice Garner; and his wife Lorene Branch. He is survived by: his sons, Stanley Branch (Gwen) and Adam Branch; his grandson Levi Branch; his siblings, Troy Branch (Dawn), JB Branch (Sally), Dennis Branch, Loyie Dale Branch (Lisa) and Shirley Rayfield; his brother-in-law Doc Garner; and his close friend Sharon Stoffle.
