She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Matthews and Lona Matthews; her siblings, Walt Craven, Earl Matthews, Joni Craven and Candace Matthews Chaisson; her stepbrothers, Charley, Donny and Scotty Craven; her grandson Brandon Bishop; her daughter-in-law Melissa Chapman Williams; her brothers-in-law, Roy and Bobby Williams; and her close friend Giselle Rogers.
She is survived by: her husband Curtis Williams; her children, Deb Carter Bishop, Jim Carter (Jean-Marie) and Leslie Williams; her grandchildren, Chadd Bishop, Autumn Gibson, Drew Bishop (Christy), Matthew Carter, Marguerite Carter and Barry Williams; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Bishop Hatfield (Dylan), Corbin Bishop, Codi Bishop, Danielle Charles, Rayne Gibson, Reagan Bishop, Kane Bishop, Reece Bishop, Taylor Carter, Calli Carter, Emory Francis and Stetson Francis; her great great grandchildren, Branley Hatfield and Cash Hatfield; her sisters, Camille Matthews, Ellie Fowler and Reta M. Chaffee; her sister-in-law Joy Harring (Bruce); and her granddaughter-in-law Shae Bishop.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home (200 Jaybird Rd, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Noe's Chapel United Methodist Church (707 Noes Chapel Rd, Morristown, TN 37814). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Noe's Chapel Church or to a charity of one's choice.
