He is survived by: his children, James Christopher Shipley, Hanna Rhodes (Randy), Isaac Shipley (Amber) and Curtis Lee Shipley (Julie); his sisters, Mary Ruth Mays and Ida Simmons; his grandchildren, Keira Shipley, Brihanna Larson, Jaime Rhodes and Sarah Rhodes; his great grandchildren, Logan, Rylan, Celeste, Rosie and Waylon; and his friend Ben McAnally. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
