He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hayes; his son Darrell "D. G." Hayes; his stepchildren, Jerry Hinton (Bobbie), Terry Hinton (Rio), Shonda Jackson, Amanda Bowers (Joe) and Linda Huskey; his siblings-in-law, Jerry "Randy" Godby (Roxy), Michael Godby, John Godby (Joy), Linda Huskey and Tina Barnard (Mark); and his close friends, Bill "Blair" Phillips (Donna) and Paula Carroll. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friends.
