He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Eugene and Nancy Marie Helton; and his siblings, Ronnie Helton, Wanda Helton Greene and Barbara Helton Teague.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon Snyder (Nikki), Shannon Helton and Amber Whitehead (Jason); and his siblings, Myron "Tommy" Helton and Myrna Helton Cox (Tinker). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
