He is survived by: his children, Darrell McDaniel (Jo Ellen), Tommy Lynn McDaniel, Harold Gene McDaniel, Jr., Melanie Jackson (David), Peggy Owens (Wayne) and Denise Coffey (Austin); his brother Billy Wayne McDaniel; and his grandchildren, Jon McDaniel, Thomas McDaniel (Ricky), Kristy Hunt, Leanne Carroll, Veronica Bretherick, Avery Owens, Ainsley Owens, Scarlett Coffey, Violett Coffey and Elliett Coffey. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stubblefield Funeral Home (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814).
