He is survived by: his siblings, Dorotha Whitson of Marion, NC, Albert Buchanan (Betty) of Shelby, NC and Donald (Violet) of Spruce Pine, NC; and his grandson Paul Buchanan of Spruce Pine, NC. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
