He is survived by: his wife Norma Sue Bowlin; his stepson Jeffrey Shortridge; his aunts, Bessie Dotson and Shirley Morgan; his sibling's children, Krista Woodfin (Darrell), Jennifer Burzell and Jason Bowlin; and his great-niece Piper Burzell.
