He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Báldy and Sara Báldy; and his siblings, Sara Renvez (Joe), Catherine Kati Báldy and Captain Paul Báldy.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Paul Báldy and Evan Báldy (Jamie); his grandchildren, Jon Robert, Carter, Emma and Mason Báldy; his niece Zsuzsi; his sister-in-law Janet Schultz; and his in-laws, Mike Schultz (Patti), Dave Schultz (Sean), Ken Schultz, Bob Schultz, Tom Schultz (Natalie), Margaret Bennett (Mark) and Judith Grennier (Ron).
