He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Ann Trent; and his parents, John Henry, Sr. and Eva Mae Johnson Trent. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Jones (Dusty); his brother Roger Trent; and his grandchildren, Tyler Jones and Jaylen Owens (Dalton).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home (146 E Main St, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
