He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Shadow and Azalee Shadow; and his siblings, Tommy, Kenneth, Myrna, Jeanette and Linda.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Joe Don Shadow of Ogden, UT and Rachel Shadow of Edmond, OK; his grandchildren, Jaren Hudson, Azalee Shadow, Ella Shadow and Ellie Gallaway; and his family Don.
