With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lowell Mills (Morristown, Tennessee), who passed away on December 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Mills and Ollie Mills; his siblings, Wayne Mills (Doris), Darce Mills (Betsy) and Geraldine Lawson (Dean); his brothers-in-law, Joe Purkey and Donnie Purkey; and his former wife Betty Jo Carroll Mills.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Mills; his daughter Terri Stansberry (David); his grandchildren, Morgan Bamburg (Tyler) and Dalton Stansberry; his great grandchildren, Kellen and Ivy Bamburg; his brother Carl Mills (Connie); and his siblings-in-law, Doyle Purkey (Annetha) and Betty Purkey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
