He was predeceased by: his wife Deloris Cole; his parents, Ryburn Cole and Lona Thacker Cole; and his sister Emma Cupp. He is survived by: his sons, Chris (Janine) and Charles Cole; his siblings, Sue Martin Cole, Kenny Cole, David Cole and Eddie Cole; and his grandchildren, Austin Cole, Riley Cole, Chase Cole, Chloe Cole, Jackson Cole, Jase Cole, Brayden Bolden, Ty Cooper and Jeremiah Holt.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (504 W Main St, Morristown, TN 37814). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
