She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Fowler and Ethel Fowler; her husband Charles Edward Gardner; and her siblings, May Fowler Knight, Jewel Fowler Harbin, Beulah Fowler Purgason, Juanita Fowler Stroud, Johnnie Fowler Douthat and Alonzo Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Gardner (Sharon) and Vicki Gardner King; her grandchildren, Marcy Edgar (John), Kelli King, Kara Elkins (Brandon), Aaron Price and Nick Price; her great grandchildren, Amelia and Savannah; and her brother Louis Fowler. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
