She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Simmons; her parents, Jim Jackson and Amanda Jackson; her siblings, Bill Jackson and Louise Guinn; her brothers-in-law, Carroll Guinn and Junior Lawson; and her niece Rhonda Jackson.
She is survived by: her sister Glenda Lawson-Dalton; her brother-in-law Freddie Dalton; and her nieces and nephews, Joe Jackson, David Jackson, Missy, Tabitha and Nicky.
A reception will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home (146 E Main St, Morristown, TN 37814).
