It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard James Dixon Sr. of Morristown, Tennessee, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Dixon and Catherine Forgey Dixon; his siblings, Wayne, Cynthia, Harlan and David; and his niece Whitney.
He is survived by: his wife Janis; his son Ritchie (Sara); his granddaughters, Brenna and Cady; his extended family, Keven Wiley (Candi), Sebastian and Haley; and his close friends, Herb, Dave and Joe.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
