He was predeceased by: his parents, Nell Rose and Ralph Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughters, Taylor McMillan (Wyl) and Samantha Coffey (Andrew); his brother Ralph "Sonny" Brooks (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Hayden Barnard, Blayne Barnard, Wyatt McMillan and Griffey Gene Coffey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
