It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah Combs Massa (Morristown, Tennessee), who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John T., Willie B. and Hazel E. Combs. She is survived by: her husband William S. Massa, III (Stan); her children, Caroline E. Massa, Henry T. Massa and Joseph W. Massa; her parents, Kathy B. Combs and Steven R. Combs; her brother Andrew S. Combs; and her nephews, Noah R. and Baylor K. Combs. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Serenity House in Morristown (Friends of Hospice of the Lakeway Area, Inc.).

“I had the privilege of watching Sarah raise and love her children from 2013-2015. At this time, Caroline, Henry, and Joseph were very young. She was patient, fun, loving and nurturing, always giving snacks & snuggles & finding fun things for her children to do like going to the library, swimming, children’s museums, & multiple playdates with friends. She cared for them so deeply and like most mothers, put her entire being into their safety, care, and growth, I am grateful for her life. -Caroline”
