He is survived by: his girlfriend Rita Reedy; his children, Thomas Bivens, Arniece Smalldridge of North Carolina, Shani Bivens of North Carolina and Shay Shields of Dandridge, Tennessee; and his brothers, Chris and Lowell Bivens. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
