He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Horner and Bernice Horner; and his brothers, David Lynn Horner and Allen Horner. He is survived by: his wife Adelita Stivalet Horner; his children, Scott Horner (Karen) and April Myers (Chris); his grandchildren, Peyton Myers, Cameron, Alyssa Foster and Charlee Horner; his great grandchild Velma Jean Foster; and his sister Rose Mary Sands. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith and Reagan Funeral Home (326 Water St, Rutledge, TN 37861). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Smith Reagan Funeral Home (326 Water St, Rutledge, TN 37861). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Liberty Hill United Methodist Church (1508 Old Liberty Hill Rd, Morristown, TN 37814).
