He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Dickerson and Joe Earl Sr. Dickerson; his siblings, Ora Van, Eurlene, Marie, Joey Earl Jr., Wayne and Harold; and his grandson Braydon Pearson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Joey Dickerson (Traci), Tracey Allen (Eric), Hugh Pearson (Carla), Mike Pearson, Chelsea Clemons (Josh) and Jessica Price; his cousin Sandy Thompson; his sister-in-law Charlotte Dickerson; and his half-brother Orville Susong. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to Serenity House of Morristown.
